현재 한인동포를 위한 정보마당이 범람하다시피 많이 있지만 필요한 정보는 없고 불필요한 광고, 인터넷 연결도구의 호환성 문제 등으로 필요한 정보를 얻고 사용하기가 매우 어려운 게 현실입니다.

이러한 문제점을 해결하고자 ‘링크 코리안’은 전 세계 한인동포들 대상으로 무료 생활정보를 전달해주고, 전 세계 한인동포를 하나로 연결하고자 하는 의미로 2008년부터 준비하여왔고 2009년 1월부터 베타서비스를 시작하게 되었습니다.

‘링크 코리안’은 사용자 여러분들이 만들어가는 정보 공유 마당 입니다. 사소한 정보 하나라도 놓치지 않고 모든 사람이 이용하고 사용 할 수 있도록 최선의 노력을 다 할 것입니다. 저희 운영진에게 부족한 점, 필요한 사항, 이용 불편사항, 서비스 제안 등 어떤 의견이라도 알려주시면 개선해 나가도록 하겠습니다.

The Front-end Web Developer will play a key role in prototyping, developing and integrating core HTML and CSS elements of the LinkKorean website, working directly with the creative director, experience designer, graphic designers, and back-end engineers. The main focus of this role will be on the production and integration of HTML and CSS with the PHP/mySQL back-end applications.

Experience

  • At least 3 years of related experience with mentioned web applications and technologies
  • Demonstrated ability to work on a diverse scope of software and database projects requiring detailed analysis, creative and practical problem solving, and sound judgment

Skills and Abilities

  • Thorough understanding of cross-platform browser compliance
  • Excellent knowledge of Javascript (jQuery and AJAX preferred)
  • Expert command of the latest semantic XHTML, the DOM and CSS
  • Demonstrated fluency with design tools like Photoshop and Illustrator and Flash
  • Working knowledge of PHP/mySQL
  • Working knowledge of WordPress (preferred)
  • Working knowledge XML and XSLT (preferred)
